The current pandemic we are facing as a nation has definitely left a mark on every single person I know. One big lesson that I learned is that people should always have a side hustle that they are passionate about to keep them afloat when their "Norms" are disrupted.
I am extremely fortunate to have a stable job, and still have the extra time to work on Jummy's Closet during this pandemic. The extra time allowed me to connect / reconnect with some "Small Black Owned Businesses" all around the world.
I will be highlighting some of the small black owned businesses (including Jummy's Closet) that I personally love below. These ladies have inspired me, and I have been able to learn a thing or two from them.
Shop with them if you’re able to, and follow them for future inspiration as well.
